At Naam Sawan, guests will enjoy personalised service provided by a team of professionally trained staff who will do their utmost to ensure guests have a pleasurable stay. Their warm, friendly service can be tailored to meet the specific needs of guests. Just inform the villa manager of your desired staff presence – for example, at mealtimes only, or on hand to serve snacks and drinks throughout the day – and service will be tailored to suit you preferences.
Naam Sawan’s friendly manager is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The manager’s job is to oversee and coordinate the staff and property and to assist guests during their stay.
The villa’s professionally trained full-time chef prepares a wide range of Western and Asian dishes, is responsible for grocery shopping and can accommodate special requests and dietary requirements.
Full-time villa attendants tend daily to all cleaning and tidying requirements at the villa and assist the kitchen at mealtimes.
Grounds keeping staff maintain Naam Sawan’s expansive lawn, gardens and swimming pool.
Naam Sawan is kept safe and secure 24 hours a day by estate security staff working rotating shifts.
Naam Sawan’s personal chef prepares daily breakfast, lunch and dinner. An extensive menu features Asian and some Western dishes, which can be tailored to suit guests’ preferences (including special dietary requirements). Children’s dishes can be prepared to satisfy the fussiest of eaters.
Menu choices include fresh seafood appetizers, such as crispy catfish with green mango salad or mackerel with chilli sauce, and main courses featuring locally caught seafood grilled to perfection or a variety of soups and curries. If you’ve still got room for desert, why not finish off with pumpkin in coconut milk or mango on sticky rice?
The menu offers an excellent choice of Thai and vegetarian set meals or individual dishes (in which case provisions are charged at cost plus a 20% shopping fee plus VAT at 7%. There is a minimum shopping fee of 750 THB). A modest selection of Western dishes may be prepared on request, and the chef is happy to customise meals to guests’ preferred levels of spiciness and flavouring. For those who don’t know a ho mok from a som tum, the chef is there to offer guidance in exploring Thai cuisine.
Guests are encouraged to plan their meals together with the villa manager and chef, ideally a day in advance to allow time to buy groceries and prepare meals. To cover the grocery shopping costs, guests are asked to provide a cash float in advance, and staff will keep all receipts from their shopping for reference.
Family friendly advantages abound at Naam Sawan. For starters, guests will enjoy private access to villa facilities with the freedom to use them whenever they please. Children can play freely in a secure environment, which means parents can enjoy a more relaxed holiday. With a 30-metre pool, table tennis, billiards (on request, extra cost), and a beach at the bottom of the garden, there’s no shortage of outdoor activities, but should youngsters need a break from the tropical heat, the home cinema with PULSE TV and SONOS integrated sound system will keep them well amused indoors.
The friendly team of staff treat children as equals and are there to lend a helping hand. This gives parents the flexibility and freedom to do their own exploring beyond the villa grounds (full-time babysitters incurs a small extra cost).
A fully equipped kitchen allows parents to prepare children’s meals with ease should they wish, but why not just brief the chef and let him take care of everything. Banana pancakes by the pool? Burger and chips in the cinema? Not a problem.
Save space in your suitcases and let us provide all of the cumbersome kids’ equipment needed for your stay. Just let us know your requirements, and anything we don’t have in-house (villa facilities include baby cot, highchair, toys and games) we can hire on your behalf.
And when the thrill of exploring your very own beachfront villa in Thailand begins to wear off, check out our Things to do page – there is plenty to do in the area to keep all the family entertained throughout the holiday.
Feel like a body scrub or massage? Just ask our staff to bring the spa to you! The poolside daybed at Naam Sawan is an idyllic spot to relax and unwind. We can recommend deluxe treatments carried out by fully trained therapists from a reputable local spa (extra charges will apply). Here’s a sample of what’s on the menu:
An ancient traditional art, this method of massage was originally administered on temple grounds by masters with healing abilities. By exerting pressure on specific points of the body and by manipulating muscles and ligaments, the spine is elongated and relieved of tension. The sense of well-being as energy and flexibility are brought back into your body is extraordinary.
Our herbal oil massage – using blends of spice, citrus, aromatic and citronella oils – is a combination of a classic Thai and oil massage. This gentle massage will leave you feeling on top of the world, and is especially suitable for people with little experience of Thai massage.
The traditional way of purifying and nourishing your face using natural products, such as our herbal cream cleaner, and honey from the North of Thailand – as well as root masks and soft pressure point massage. This relaxing facial treatment will leave your skin feeling silky smooth, giving you a fresh and healthy glow. Our facial massage is popular with both men and women.
This is a treat for one of the body’s most important – and often neglected – parts. After the pressure point massage, herbal foot masque and herbal oil treatment, you’ll be back to full speed again.
Indulge, sit back and enjoy a quality manicure by a professional therapist. The pedicure includes a luxury foot soak, foot scrub and exfoliation to soften those weary feet.
